By Con, founder of Music Wide Selfie · Updated 22 October 2026

**Short answer**Check the background for your address, school logos and car plates, turn off location in the post, and think about whether your child would want it online when they're older.

* Share with a close-friends list instead of public.
* Remove location data before posting.
